Warren County Report

Federal, state and local authorities are battling fires in Warren County, Va. tonight. High winds are not helping. The National Weather Service is reporting current winds at 36 miles per hour in Winchester.

As of 6 hours ago an estimated 75 acres of Shenandoah National Park had burned.

Two homes were burned in fires unrelated to the large brush fires. A portion of Linden was evacuated.
