Dinnergate instant-celebs Tareq and Michaele Salahi also crashed the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s annual awards dinner in September according to our friends at Fox 5 in Washington, DC.
Multiple sources told Fox 5’s Will Thomas the couple snuck in through a bus boy entrance and were told to leave when they were caught by an official.
In the Today Show television interview, the Salahis claimed to Matt Lauer that they were invited to the Congressional Black Caucus dinner. They insisted that they were not thrown out of that event.
Lance Jones, who works for the Congressional Black Caucus, said in a televised interview with MyFox DC that the Salahis were not invited to the dinner, that they had sneaked in through a service entrance, and that he himself was the one that threw them out.
